The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requires that all products covered by a Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) Technical Regulation that are to be exported to Saudi Arabia be issued with a Product Certificate, and that every consignment be accompanied by a Shipment Certificate through the SABER platform. Under the Saudi Product Safety Program (SALEEM), SASO has implemented SABER, an electronic certification requisition platform which guarantees the engagement of a Certification Body signed with SASO.
