The Only NRTL to Certify you to UL2524

UL 2524 is the new standard created due to the update of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)building codes. This standard replaces the old UL/CSA 62368-1. For California and New York City, where there are even more restrictions around in-building radios. These rules are found in UL 2524a.

What is an NRTL?

A National Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) is an independent testing laboratory that is recognized by the OHSA. These laboratories have the responsibility to test and certify products to safety specifications that correlate to the current applicable standards. SGS can test to over 150 standards, including UL 2524.

After an in-building radio is certified, it will bear the SGS North America Listed Mark and be listed in our database.
