“At first I was apprehensive as I was used to face-to-face trainings with active interaction between facilitator and participants. With the SGS VILT programs that I’ve attended however, the facilitators were still able to actively engage participants and even have small group works through chat rooms. It was actually more convenient for me as I didn’t have to brave the Makati traffic and I was able to undergo the training in the comfort of our home. Materials were sent ahead of time and logistical arrangements (including the Zoom platform) were great. I hope SGS will continue offering VILT programs even after the COVID situation has been resolved.“

“It was the first virtual training I’ve ever attended and I am foreign to Zoom at the time. It kinda worried me a bit that dealing with technicalities might affect the time allotted for training, but that wasn’t the actual case. Overall I say it went easily than expected, like not a single birth pain. Sure new normal is technologically challenging but new learnings also pushes us to leverage our ways of working.
