E-Mobility Investing in World Class E-Mobility Solutions
As we invest in world class e-mobility solutions and help our customers to define a new era of mobility, SGS remains at the forefront of the industry.
SGS has been a leading player in third party testing services for the e-mobility sector since 2011. Through our investment in a new e-mobility laboratory in Gelting, south of Munich, Germany, we provide one of the most advanced e-mobility test centers in Europe.
One of three e-mobility labs operated by SGS in Europe, this new facility occupies 4,000 square meters and employs 40 SGS experts. It supports original equipment manufacturers and suppliers through battery testing and the testing of electronic and electromechanical components. We also offer state-of-the-art environmental simulations, testing equipment for hardiness, safety and performance through vibration. We also perform mechanical shock, temperature and humidity tests, and test the effects of salt mist, dust, mixed gases and chemical substances.
